About Seeta

Seeta Durvasula is a medical practitioner with recognised expertise in intellectual disability (ID) medicine and over 35 years of practice in this field. Seeta has worked at CDS for over 20 years in clinical, research and teaching roles. She is a clinical director of two specialised health services for people with ID. Seeta is a Senior Lecturer in Developmental Disability Health at the University of Sydney Faculty of Medicine and Health.  Her research is in the areas of mortality, falls, ageing, frailty and clinical outcomes in people with ID.
