NDCO Seminar Series – Advocacy in education
Are you a student with disability interested in finding out about advocacy in education?
This session will provide information on the rights of people with disability in education and how to advocate for yourself or someone else in this setting. There will be presentations from both a student and educator perspective as well as a session from Family Advocacy on the rights of students and tools and tips on effective advocacy.
Who should attend? This session is for people with disability and their supporters who are keen to find out more about advocacy in education.
The NDCO Seminar Series is coordinated by the National Disability Coordination Officer Program in the Sydney region. The NDCO Program is funded by the Federal Department of Education and Training.
