Nothing About Us Without Us!

March 19, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Owing to the implications of COVID 19, we have had to cancel the Inclusive Research seminar. Please keep an eye out for the re-schedule date.

Become and Inclusive Researcher

Come along to learn about how you can become a researcher and increase the voice of people with disability within the university and beyond!

What is Inclusive Research?

Inclusive Research is about people with intellectual disabilities doing research, not having research done on them. This workshop will teach you to come up with research projects, do the research and then talk about it to other people.

Support workers are very welcome!

What will we be learning about in this workshop?

This workshop is all about the methods that we use in Inclusive Research Projects including: interviews, focus groups and photovoice.

Who is running it?

The workshop will be run by Professor Patricia O’Brien and David Taylor. Patricia is the Director of the Centre for Disability Studies and David is the Facilitator of the Inclusive Research Network.

What do I do if I want to come?

Please register below. This is a free workshop.
