One Day Sydney I-CAN Facilitator Training
November 12, 2019, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
$495
The I-CAN is a support needs assessment, planning and resource allocation tool designed to assess and guide support delivery for people with disabilities, including people with psychosocial disability. Workshop participants will learn to facilitate I-CAN interviews with a client and their circle of support and generate an individual support needs report which helps guide service delivery and planning.
While this workshop is one day face-to-face, please note that in order to become an I-CAN facilitator you will also need to complete:
- pre-reading material
- a half day follow up Implementation Workshop via videoconferencing within two months of the face-to-face workshop
- An I-CAN assessment with a client that is submitted for feedback and review.
If you intend to use I-CAN with plan- and agency-managed NDIS participants, we suggest that you are registered to provide therapeutic supports under the NDIS.
