Workshop Information
This one day workshop is designed for disability practitioners/therapists who are new to supervisory roles or just want to know more about supervision.
By attending the workshop, practitioners will develop an understanding of:
- What supervision, mentoring and coaching are and their unique differences
- The role and importance of supervision, mentoring and coaching
- Reflective supervision practices
- Documenting supervision plans, agreements and minutes
About the Facilitators:
Laura Hogan is an Occupational Therapist (Bachelor of Applied Science.) She also holds a Masters of Health Science (Developmental Disability) and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. Laura has significant experience working with people with disability across the lifespan with a special interest in supporting adolescents and adults with complex support needs.
Emma Doukakis is a CDS Leader of Education and Training, with a background in law and advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities. She has worked in a range of roles including providing individual advocacy, facilitating self advocacy groups and training, and managing a disability advocacy program throughout southern NSW.
