About Jess
Dr Jessica Murphy is a GP who has a special interest in managing patients with intellectual disability. She graduated from the University of Manchester UK in 2011. She completed her GP training and worked as a GP in Manchester before emigrating to Australia in 2018. She is passionate about improving health outcomes for patients with intellectual disability. She also has a keen interest in medical education and supervises medical students.
Dr Murphy works for CDS in the Complex Care Service clinic which provides comprehensive health assessments for patients with intellectual disability and complex health needs.
In her spare time, she enjoys learning Spanish, reading and spending time at the beach with her husband and dog Ernie.
