Project Summary

The Inclusive Homelessness Workforce Project aims to improve the capacity of staff working in the homelessness sector to support people with intellectual disability. People with intellectual disability are often overlooked in discussions about homelessness. We have developed a training resource to help people working in this sector build their skills and knowledge about how to support this group of people, and meet their needs more effectively. We have recently run two online training session and have received feedback from the sessions which we will use to improve the training. We aim to roll the training out across Australia.
