About Laura
Laura Hogan is an Occupational Therapist (Bachelor of Applied Science), she also holds a Master of Health Science (Developmental Disability) and Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. Laura has worked for many years with people with disability across the lifespan with a special interest in supporting adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities and complex support needs. Laura leads our health and clinical practice initiatives including:
- The Instrument for the Classification & Assessment of Support Needs (I-CAN) v6 and vDSOA
- The NSW Developmental Disability Health Unit (DDHU)
- Fee for service allied health supervision
- Clinical supervision and governance sector consultations
- NDIS allied health services
In addition, Laura is actively involved in the Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability (ASID), in her role as Board Director and Immediate Past President. In 2022, Laura was accepted into the Doctor of Clinical Science program through La Trobe University.
