About Meg
Meg joined the Centre for Disability Studies in April 2026 as the Inclusive University Program Coordinator for the uni 2 beyond program. In this role, she is responsible for recruiting and supporting students, coordinating their university experience, managing timetabling, overseeing the mentorship program, and liaising with the wide range of stakeholders to promote inclusive service and awareness.
Meg has over 20 years of experience working in educational sectors across Australia, the United Kingdom and China, supporting learners from early childhood through to young adulthood. Before joining CDS, she spent nearly a decade working within inclusion units in Queensland’s public education sector, specialising in supporting students with intellectual disability, language impairment and a range of other diverse learning needs. Her work has always centred on creating genuine, inclusive and fair opportunities for people with disabilities.
Most recently, Meg completed a Master of Data Analytics at Queensland University of Technology. She is keen to bring analytical lens to her coordination work, using evidence and data to inform planning and decision-making in the service of better outcomes for students.
On a personal note, Meg loves Zumba dancing, travelling, food-tasting, discovering new cultures, and meeting people from all walks of life.
