The Inclusive Governance Committee needs members to share their experiences and ideas with the CDS Board of Directors.

  • Voluntary role 
  • Minimum 4 meetings every year 
  • Location – Camperdown / Online
  • Make a difference to improve inclusion in a non-for-profit organisation

What does the Committee Do?

The committee helps CDS include everyone, especially people with intellectual disabilities.

The Committee:

  • Gives advice to improve CDS plans and activities.
  • Helps make decisions fairer and more inclusive.
  • Promotes respect, diversity, and inclusion in all CDS work.

As a committee member, you will:

  • Look at CDS documents and suggest improvements to include everyone.
  • Attend at least four meetings a year (online or in person).
  • Work on reports and give recommendations to the CDS Board.
  • Share your experiences to guide CDS policies.
  • Help CDS promote its inclusion work in the community.

  • Review materials and give helpful feedback.
  • Follow CDS values like trust, respect, and diversity.

As a committee member, you will:

  • Attend meetings online or in person.
  • Provide advice to improve CDS policies and goals.
  • Help create reports and suggestions for the CDS Board.
  • Promote CDS inclusion work through events or presentations.
