Centre for Disability Studies (CDS) is a non-profit organisation affiliated with the School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health, at the University of Sydney, Australia. CDS is committed to creating inclusive societies for people with disability through creating and sharing knowledge and research.

Ageing

Supporting the health and function of people with intellectual disability who are ageing or frail

Many people with intellectual disability have signs of ageing and frailty at a younger age than others in the population.  In this workshop, participants will learn to recognise signs of ageing and frailty in people with intellectual disability and be aware of the associated health and functional outcomes
