About Holly
Holly Dennehy works as a Research and Clinical Project Officer at CDS. Holly previously worked as a Research Assistant at the Trinity Centre for Ageing and Intellectual Disability, at Trinity College Dublin (TCAID). Holly worked on a range of research projects during her time at TCAID; ‘Including best practices and the voices of experience in developing post-diagnostic dementia support guidelines for people with an intellectual disability’ and ‘Get Wise About Your Health’. Holly has worked as a field researcher in the IDS-TILDA Wave 5 data collection, and as a research assistant supporting the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland Dementia Research Advisory Team in running their own research project which focused on ‘The impact a dementia diagnosis has on the person who becomes the carer’. Holly has also worked as an assistant psychologist, project worker, support worker and special needs assistant in Ireland. Holly completed her MSc in Health Psychology at the University of Ulster and her BSc in Psychology at the University of Limerick.
Holly’s research interests include autism, brain health, dementia, health promotion and intellectual disability.
