About the Role
- Coordinate the day-to-day tasks associated with the operation of uni 2 beyond, with support and guidance, including promotion and recruitment of students; student support; recruitment and training of mentors; liaising with university staff, in particular, working with lecturing staff to support student learning, engagement, and relationships with peers
- Organise and monitor student NDIS Service Agreements.
- Organise appropriate invoicing and maintain NDIS compliance issues
- Maintain uni 2 beyond social media pages and information on CDS website and promote inclusive practices of the University
- Ensure continuous improvement and evaluation and develop a sustainability plan for the future of the programme
- Support Disability Inclusion at the University of Sydney
- Advocate for inclusive higher education for people with intellectual disability at state, national and international level
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Health, Social Science/Disability or equivalent
- Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check, or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in working and supporting people with intellectual disability
- Experience working in community development and/or inclusion
- Experience with project management and coordination
- Experience of the higher education sector
